I hate to ask but the search function is disabled, getting ECU 08 04, came on solid at 139,000 kilometers at highway speed. Car is shifting fine, fluid is fine, everything appears normal, reset the ecu and now comes up clear and no repeat of 08 04. So is this a warning to change the fluid that pops up at certain mileages, or maybe something expensive, anyone have any ideas, thanks for any help you can provide, man I miss that search function.

 

is 0804 all you getting cause the part costs about 500+/-. i got 05 04 just yesterday its the same thing A/T control unit or circiut fault

 

well the code cleared and it hasnt returned after 350 km of driving, so I am hoping its ok, dealer scanned it and came up clear so my fingers are crossed.
