Oxygen Sensor

Lately my car has been using tons of gas. I used to be able to get close to 400 miles on one tank, but now it's down to 200-300 miles. <rant> This sucks with the rising gas prices over here in the bay area </rant>.

OK, I need to focus on the topic here. The shop just informed me that I needed a new oxygen sensor. My question is what prices do these usually range? The guy at the shop said it was $30-$90 installed? Is this accurate. Can I install one myself (probably not)?

Thanks guys

That's pretty cheap. But you know what? I'd try cleaning the 02 sensor and see what that does. You have to dig around the 4-gen forum for the thread about it though.
