it should have a nice growl to it, but it's not gonna launch you down the track all that much faster, so i've heard.

Well I used it but that's because I got it for free. I might part with it soon so let me know.

Performance wise...no. Maybe 1 hp? But protective wise and financially wise...yes. Good protection and you can clean and re-use for 1 million miles. Good investment.

sound imo nothing, performance not really there, if you just want a reliable filter for your stock air box yes, but I would save the money and get a frankencar, cattman, or if you got the $$ ingen, it seems to be the best "cold" air intake out there, no cutting holes in your car and the filter gets down close to the front bumper

I had that in my car before I started modding and it wasn't a bad product. It didn't give me any noticable performance gains but it was real easy to clean and re-use. However, I did hear of one Civic owner that gained 10 hp by slapping one of those "K&N Filter Charger Equipped" stickers on the side of his car.

If you're planning in buying one, I'd spend the money on an APC cone filter instead - for $25 or so you can make your own home made "poor man's intake".

This will:

a. sound normal until you get on it, then it'll sound great
b. add some high end power
c. unfortunately take away some low end, but it's still worth it.
