Keyless Entry problems

I just went and had my windows tinted and when I got home from doing that I noticed that my keyless entry no longer works. (HUH? Exactly, what im thinking since he worked on the windows)
Anyone know which fuse belongs to it? I looked at the little fuse panel and none of them specified for the keyless entry. I tried my spare remote thingie and that didnt work either so I know it's not the battery.

Anyone have any ideas if it's not the fuse?

This is for a 98 I30 but figured the Maxima's had the same setup.

LOL! I had the exact same thing happen to me, I dont know if i ever posted that up, but i did contact a few people from here for the exact same question. Well I hope you didnt go to garunteed alarm in brooklyn thats where i got mine done. And the exact same thing happened.
Anyway apparently some kind of liquid iam guessing make the cleaning solution they use for the windows probably trickled into the wiring some how, iam guessing because i dont know for a fact. However, it started working normally again a week later. I havent had any problems except for when there was a blizzard and my car was buried hood high in snow, then it wasnt working for a day or two then started to work just like normal again. This leads me to think that it has to do with liquid getting in somewhere. I could be wrong tho.

However this unreliable thing can be a pain in the neck to some as it is to me personally so when I plan to get new audio equipment put in I plan to put in a new security system as well.

LOL
I know metallic film tint affects radio antennas and I just heard that the sensor for the keyless entry is under the rear winsheild so maybe that could be the case. But I tried locking the door from inside the car (using remote), pointing directly towards the back and still no luck.

Glad I'm not the only person who's had this problem at least. Guess I can wait a week to see if it starts working again. The guy said it takes about a week or so for the liquid beneath the tint to dry out in full sun. Luckily it's gonna be 85ish here all week. Gotta love Arizona 'winters'.

Anyone know if it could be a reprogramming problem? I saw the guide for reprogramming the keyless remote for a 95 max but not sure if it applies to a 98 I30. (incase it doesn't start working on its own when the stuff dries)
