good y-pipe? bad y-pipe?

i have read a lot about y-pipes and it seesm every manufacturer has something bad to say about the others. this makes it very difficult to find the best deal for my money. the least expensive one i have found is from Budget Exhuast out of canada. I have heard this is a great y-pipe but warpspeed seems to think is is a piece of crap. anyone with good solid info on this topic please e-mail me @ andrewsnissan@yahoo.com thanks fellow mamimins

Nice...glad to see you get to pay more and get less with a warpspeed I just ordered my 304SS Budget Y-pipe. I hear it doesn't have stainless flanges, but the tubes are, and thats what really matters.

good y-pipe = Budget, Warpspeed, Cattman, etc.

bad y-pipe = stock y-pipe

Unless you're a GreenPeace-nik or a tree-hugger. That said, I have a Budget y.

Felix:

That ain't necessarily so. I have a Budget y-pipe (and CAI). I'm also a member of Greenpeace.

I figure that the few extra milligrams of polutants at start-up are offset by the fact that I don't use as much gas as before the y-pipe to accelerate like a madman.

Go with anybody except warpspeed! If you wanna have it on your your car within the month anyway! They make a good product, but their
customer service leaves alot to be desired.

DOH!
Thanks for letting me know that I have never been to canada. So I am guessing that if I buy it with USD I would only pay about 160 bucks. Does that sound right?

I've had my WSP SS Y since August, I'm in NJ, my pipe does not look like that, it is not rusty at all, it is somewhat brown now, which is normal for SS. Your pipe does look like crap though...

If I was going to purchase a Ypipe again, I would have gotten the Budget, they have better service, and can actually get a hold of them if you have a problem, and its about half the price.
