Fitment issues with energysuspension ?

Ok I have replaced my endlink bushings, and swaybar bushings with energysuspension bushings. Now I ordered the control arm bushings( oh this is for a 97 max) and none seems to fit! Does anyone know why ? note: I made this purchase on courtesy nissan site. The part number for the CAB set is, 7-3111G. I spoke to the sales person and they agreed to take the set back. The intresting thing is , he said that 15 people on the org. bought this set and never returned them?! Please help .
Thanks to all.

I remember reading somewhere that the energysuspension bushings were an exact fit, and would have to be installed with some sort of press. I could be tottally wrong though.

The new bushings must be installed with a press, you're not just going to slip them in and go.

Don't send em back. Either the dealer service dept., a mechanic or a machine shop will have what you want here. Take them the control arm and the new bushings. I'm surprised you got the other ones out without a press or a lot of manual work with a drill or similar.

I love the feel of the new Swaybar bushings and the endlink bushings. My car is much more responsive (similar to the 03 six speed max that I test drove). I highly recomend them. I am still confused about the control arm bushings . If anyone did this mod , kindly post some pictures.
Thanks to all that replied. Thank you guys.

i'm also hoping that it will reduce some wheel hop... did it help there also?

thanks for the reply

The stock ones are generally best removed with a torch to avoid damaging the control arm and the bushing insert.

The wheel hop , I am not sure about . I say that because I suck at launching ! I did however noticed less noise(in comparison with stock) while going over bumps. It is not a placebo effect; it is polyurathane(check spelling) at its best!
I felt, these bushings does more to enhance ride comfort and promote a bit more steering accuracy. Correct me if I am wrong .
Note: You might want to check your engine mounts to decrease wheel hop.

yeah i was thinkin about the motor mounts as well... i was thinkin on just going w/ all the suspension pieces first and then do the motor mounts but i guess i'll just have to see how i like everything...

btw... what kinda mods do you have up there... i got the FSTB, eibach, and agx in the front...

I do not have much; AGX & Eibach, courtesy FSTB, ES endlink and swaybar bushings, drop-in K&N filter, 2001 SE Muffler and Rims, AE shifer& wheel skin shift boot, Hanabi 7.5k HID kit and finally clear bumper lens with clear tail lights.
Thank for reading and I agree with you; you should start with checking your suspension , and replace worn parts first. Check tie rod ends, ball joints and wheel bearings( mine was shot).
Good luck.

Those control arm bushings are REALLY thick. Being made from rubber, there is a LOT of room for deflection. Poly bushings should eliminate a ton of slack and deflecton in the suspension around turns.

Changing the control arm bushings should make a much larger, much more noticable difference than the much thinner sway bar bushings.

Good Luck!
