Has anyone ever cracked the glass on their stock foglights. I looked at mine this afternoon and they were both cracked. Has anyone had this problem if so what did u do. My car is leased and I was wondering if the glass will last another 1 1/2 years. Shuld I leave them or are they going to break

thanx

I beleive they could last but it,s hard to really say. The bulb inside the fog is sealed so it will last but the glass may or may not.

I had a crack in my driver side stock foglight before. At first, I thought nothing of it. It's just a crack, so I didn't worry. However, as time went by, water vapors started to get into the housing. I wasn't sure did the crack got bigger or what. Anyway, the glass itself didn't break apart or anything. So, I think the glass will last. Mine was more than just a crack, it was more like a chip. You can actually see a small hole. So, I guess it depends on how bad the crack is.

I also had a chip with a small hole and crack on my driver side fog light. I put clear silicone caulk to seal it, like the one for aquarium or around bathtub. I has been a year and it's still intact and dry.
