Wig=Wag lights

Has anyone installed a Wig-Wag module to flash their headlights on a 4th gen Max?

If so, what brand module did you install? A few I looked at would not work because of the way the Max headlights are wired (On with ground instead of positive).

Wig-wags

Yes
I Installed wig-wags in my 99 SE. I bought the whole set form the JC Whitney catalog. They have different types depending on which lights you want to control (high beam, low beam,...)
It comes w/ instructions and I had to do some cutting and extra wiring with my wires.
Anyway, just look on their website

Feel free to email me if you have any questions.

I volunteer as an EMT so you kind of have to have those to get them grannies off the road. Plus they help if you're late for school/work and they get you out of a traffic jam....if you know what I mean.
Use them at your own risk, if you're late for school/work .....

Nah, it's all cool, I'm just joking around. I'm an EMT too, but I work in Boston. Around here we have a lot of people who put on light bars and wigwacs but have no use for them.

Which model did you install?? I want to get one that I know will hook up. I'm not sure the High-beam, Low-beam and Driving Light Flasher Conversion Kit will work on the fogs too because of the way they are wired.

I installed the "Auxilary Light Flasher Conversion Kit" from JC Whitney thing. It goes on my high-beams. You wanna wire your high-beams since they're the brightest and visible during day time. They also work if you have your low-beams on. It's really easy to install. Basically, what it does it intersepts the flow of electricity itermittently to the high-beams so you get truning on and off of the high beams. I'm not sure if this works with the fogs. The high-beams have a longer lasting life so they can endure being "wig-wagged" - conversely, the fogs do not. Most likely they would burn out sooner or later. If you really want to get attention - you need to get something that is not wig-wag programmed. For example, ambulance flashers, or paramedic flashers. They flash in >>>> <<<< mode insted of > < like the wig-wags do. (I hope you follow what I'm sayin').
Anyway, check this site out. They sell things for EMT, fire, police...

Search within the site - they have some cool stuff.

They are also great for cruising in funeral processions and making those CHP's get out of your way that drive 10 MPH under the limit in the fast lane and back up traffic.

Thanks for the tips, guys.
