Couple of Questions

First of all, my car's brakes squeel a lot when i do light braking around 40mph. It also makes a squeaking sound when i'm going real slow and making a left turn. I had someone take a look at my brake pads and they're fine, I've had this problem since i bought the car in october. It happens all the time when i drive. could it be just an excessive amount of brake dust? it's getting quite irritating. The second thing is, and i know it's a dumb question, if i get a red frankencar (used from someone on the forum) and paint it a different color, nothing's going to happen right? The last thing is, can someone send me pics of a car with H&R's. They only give about a 1.3" drop, right? I'm thinking of doing H&R//GR2s, and i just want to see how they look. Thanks for the help

If your ceratin your brake pads are fine (plenty of thickness) then you need to apply some disc brake quiet to them. It is a substance that is applied to the backs of the brake pads (not the surface that touches the rotor). It can be sprayed on or brushed on. If your brakes squeak when driving maybe one of them is low or the brake pad wear indicator is doing its job. Also, it's possible that the shielding that is behind the rotor is making contact w/ the rotor. It is flimsy metal and sometimes gets bent to where it makes contact w/ the rotor. Make sure it's not touching and making the noise.

You can paint the midpipe no problem. Just make sure you don't cake the paint into the smaller nipple that is on the intake. Hope that makes sense.

No pics of H&R.

The dome light and map light are different. I don't know the numbers of either but they are definitely different.

Good luck.
