Question about my car

how many oxygen sensors does a 95-96 maxima have? i was thinking about changing mines.... i went to a website and it says there are 3.. and autozone says it has 2... kinda confused here...i think they might be getting lazy... and which brand is recommended.... and since mines are working... can i just clean them up some howto get better gas mileage and performace i have no CEL right now...

thank you

not quite.

fed spec has one for each exhaust bank, plus one after the cat. cali spec has all the fed spec and another one before the cat after the banks are joined.

all cars with OBDII have an O2 sensor after the cat to monitor the cat's condition.
