.....under the hood of my car ? Is it a belt that need replacing ? When I drive for few minutes the noise goes away.... and this just happened recently... thanx

 

I've got the exact same problem. I think it's a belt, probably the serpentine belt - a cheap easy fix. -Phil

 

Does it happen when u start your engine... if it is... your belt is either loose or just worn out... mine i believe is worn out... I'm gonna be gettin' a new one soon... and it's not expensive... everything messed up when my idler pully/tensioner fell out... but anyways... check your belts!
