i have a 96 se...and sometimes i get a white smoke coming from the exhaust. It also lets out alot of moisture when i stand behind it. What could be the cause of this and is it just because of old age?

Cold air and hot air from the exhaust yeilds to white smoke, it is normal my car does the same thing. When you give a lot of gas you'll get white smoke because you're burning more fuel etc. Think of this way on a Cold day when you open your mouth and breathe doesn't steam come out? Same thing with your car, as long as it smells normal, its fine.

if you see black or a blueish smoke, then worry. its probubly cause is cold out.

If it's really really white smoke, it's possible that coolant is getting into your cylinders or block, vaporizing during combustion and exiting your tailpipe. This could be caused by a cracked block (oh oh), or blown head gasket (not so oh oh). Check your coolant level to see if it's dropping and also check your oil. If the oil has a milky white consistency to it, bingo. If it's none of the above, then it's just 'cause it's cold out.
