0505 No Failure Recorded/Detected
So I pulled an 05 05 off my ECU. Went to the decoder and it diagnosed it as No Failure Recorded/Detected. Does this mean that there isn't a problem and I should just reset the ECU? Or does it mean that I read the code wrong and its not in the database?
thanks

When I first bought my car it did the same thing. I have a 95 Max GLE. When I first pulled the code, I saw that the screw was not stopped properly. Make sure you reset the ECU and that the screw is left all the way counter-clockwise, against the STOP! And don't overturn it!!!!

Remember King, don't overturn it and you must reset the ECU first so that the light turns off.
If you want to test that this is the probable problem and solution, I noticed that if you turn the key to the On position for a little while wait for like 15-30 seconds and then start the car, my ECL light would not turn on. If this happens to you too then, it's probably the screw. If not, then it could be something more serious, like a faulty ECU.
