Question regarding ACT clutch kit?

Ok i know from what everyone has said that an organic SS street disc is the best for our cars....My question is about the Pressure Plate. Do we really need to get a new pressure plate along with the disc? I can get the SS street disc for relatively cheap here in canada, but when the pressure plate is involved the price is nearly doubled....Anybody put an Organic SS street disc into their maxima without the ACT heavy duty pressure plate?

you definately will not get the full benifit of the disc. Part of the advantage of the HDMM kit is the stronger pressure plate. It gives you the stiffer clutch feel and gives you the quicker engagement. The price may double with the pressure plate but so does the performance of the clutch.
