Batt. light on

Im asking once more, maybe some one can help. Recently I noticed that when im driving and hit around 3k rpm my batt. light and my brake light come on. When im on the highway they pretty much stay on, untill i slow down. I cant seem to figure out what could be causing this. Any suggestions? Could it be my alternator?

Check a wiring harness located from you alternator (has two plugins.One on the top of the alternator and the other on the bottom of it. Then the harness connects to another harness.)This was my problem.
