I just bought a set of PIAA Platinum Superwhite's for my 98 max. I put them in during daylight and they look IDENTICAL to my factory bulbs. Is there a problem or something? The PIAA bulbs have a light purple tint to the actual bulb itself but when I turn my headlights on in my garage they look "yellowish". Is this because it is daytime? would it look a lot different at night? (ie. bright white like it's supposed to? or will it look yellow like they do now in the day time?) I'd think there would still be a difference during the daytime? what do you guys think? I'm really close to returning them.

they're gonna have that yellowish tint at night too, but they will be a lot brighter. if you want a blueishf/whiteish look get HID or go to pep boys and pick up some of their $40 blue headlights.
