question about changing ATF

my question is there are two hose connect to the transmission from the radiator. which one should i pull off when i'm doing a flush for the transmission??

here is a picture from tranny faq.

please tell me is it the top hose or the bottom hose..

Take the return line off. That way you flush the tranny cooler as well.

what if i don't have a tranny cooler?? do i still the return line off or the other line?

Everyone has at least the stock cooler, it's built into the trans. On the transmission side, the lower hose is the return. I usually purge mine for the pressure side of the trans (top line), just 'cause it's easier. 3 or 4' of 3/8" hose from there to a bucket and you're all set. Just drain and fill the pan first, and again after each gallon or so. Yes, it leaves a little old oil in the cooler, but not enough to worry about IMHO.
