4th gens are fairly cheap to mod

I plan on getting a 97-99 SE 5spd within a month depending how other things go but anyways, i was thinking and 4th gens seem fairly cheap to mod, intake is roughly 130 depending which one you get. y-pipe is available for 160. b-pipe cost less then the y-pipe. then theres the little things like clears ($20) rear clears ($4)for parts. these prices for mods are getting in the civic range im not rich by any means but im sure i could aquire those mods i mentioned within 2 months and still be able to pay the rest of my bills

Those kinds of mods are pretty inexpensive for almost any car. Try stepping up to supercharger and turbo kits and you'd wish you owned a civic. Not only are the prices high for good Maxima mods, the selection is also pretty limited. At least we don't own BMWs. Now those cars are expensive to mod.

of course, compared to modifying BMW's, Maximas are cheap. My buddy is talking about putting like 10k into his '97 M3. That's just for a turbo and exhaust.

Mods are getting a bit cheaper as the market opens up. Its all about how many consumers will buy the product. Civics are really cheap to mod because there are alot of civic owners. Max's arent as bad as some cars, but they certainly arent cheap to mod.

im just saying the basic bolt ons are somewhat cheap. and i think the aftermarket for the maxima has grown quite a bit a the last couple years. i have 01 cougar and to mod that thing it cost 2 times as much as a maxima because theres not that much aftermarket for them
