Full Intake/Exhaust System Questions

I have a 1997 GXE 5 speed and I want to add a full intake and exhaust system to it. I have decided to start with a Frankencar Intake with K&N filter followed by a Budget y-pipe, Random Technology Cat, and the the custommaxima.com Greddy Cat-Back.
First off is this a decent setup? I would like input if anyone thinks I should replace a part with a different brand. Second my question is about pipe sizes. Does anyone happen to know what the pipe diameter is on the Budget Y-Pipe and custommaxima.com Greddy Cat-Back? And lastly I have heard the Budget Y-Pipe is a great deal, yet I can't even find it on the site. If anyone who could link to the direct page of the y-pipe or just give me the price, it would be greatly appreciated.

So the items I picked are good, but can anyone answer the pipe diameter and price questions?

I'm pretty sure the piping is 2.5", and the website is www.budgetexhaust.com. Now you can't order it off the website, you have to call their number. It is like...$250 Canadian which = about $165 USA mullah. Good setup.

Is 2.5 the piping size for both the y-pipe and the cat-back, or just the y-pipe?

As far as I know, all the cat backs I have been looking at are 2.25-2.5 in.

I dont know what size the Y is but the budget is as good of a pipe as any out there, so dont worry about it.
I personally have a Warpspeed Y because I have heard alot of good things about it but I am pretty sure the budget is exactly the same thing.

Don't waste your money on a cat converter, especially a RT. You won't gain anything, but if you absolutely need a cat converter just get a carsound from budget...

Go with the budget ypipe and frankencar intake. The RT cat gains nothing unless you are going turbo or supercharged. An exhaust is cool, but is not worth the $400+ to get maybe 1 or 2 hp out of this setup. The stock exhaust is good enough for N/A cars. Get the exhaust if you want the extra 1 or 2 hp and a lot of added noise for $400+, but I rather get a FSTB and RSB or AGX/H&R combo. Maybe you might be interested in a short shifter for your 5spd, email me
