aftermarket foglights install
Hi all! I'm new here. I just installed a set of fogs on my '95 GLX. Before I start running the wires and drilling thru the firewall, I was wondering if my car has been prewired from the factory for foglights? I saw that there is a fuse marked foglights in the fusebox and I want to know if I can use any existing wires and simply buy a factory switch, which would make the job mor professional. Thanx for any advice and nice to be here.

Yep. If you pop out the sidemarkers and unscrew the turn signals, the wires/plugs for the foglights should be taped to the rest of the wires with electrical tape. Just use t-connectors to connect those wires to your new foglights (I forget which wire is + and which is ground). It's very straightforward. If you do it this way, you can open up the steering column cover and tap into the existing stock foglight harness (also pretty obvious- should be a rectangular connector wrapped in some kind of foamy tape stuff- one you see it you'll know what I mean). Just wire your switch into that and you should be all set.
P.S. I think you mean GXE or GLE
