Get the cheapest one....they're all pretty much the same....with exception to the filter.

Hacked stock airbox, K&N filter panel, aftermarket midpipe. A "sleeper" CAI for a mere $60 that performs as good if not better than the a hybrid or CAI. If I can get 99.5mph in 1/4 mile with one, I really don't think it's holding me back much.

I don't know why people get CAI cuase it's a known fact that the shorter the pipe the better.

CAI's are better for off the line but once you hit 30 they aren't as good as pop-chargers or a regular intake.

225 for an intake that will give you 2-5 HP and alot of noise is a waste of money and it's just stupid..

If you really want it, Make it from Home Depot and spray paint with high heat paint with the color of your choice.
You may pay 50 bucks for everything and still have the same power.
Don't waste your money.

For the rest of money you will save buy something like exhuast, or port and polish or something else that will give you like 20 HP or so.

It's deeper, but not quite as loud. It's really hard to explain, but it sounds better than the hybrid. More refined maybe I like it better simply because the VQ feels more powerful from 2000-5000rpms with little or no difference in the upper revs.

You should try it out for a few days and see how you like it. All I did was dremel out the front and driver's side walls of the lower airbox and ran a midpipe. I don't think the K&N filter is necessary unless your stock paper filter is nasty.

$50.00 not bad. I am currently using this set up and I have no complaints.

if you're interested, i have a bomz cai for sale in the 4th gen classifieds. here's a link to the thread:
http://forums.maxima.org/showthread....hreadid=204571
in my opinion, the cold air setup is the best for automatics. i had the frankencar/jwt and the low end lag was bad. my injen feels far more responsive and smoother in terms of power. with the bomz cai, you can also convert to the hybrid if you wanted to, though i wouldn't recommend it.
