Someone actually did a comparo awhile back comparing PIAAs, silverstars, OEM, and something else, and the PIAAs didnt look special. The only reason i upgraded mine was because i wanted something a tick brighter, and the Phillips do the trick, their a couple notches whiter than stock (esp next to my "rewired" corner lights now) and in high beam form they have a nice blue-ish, but still very white, glow to them. I almost got SilverStars but couldnt part with $40 -vs- the $24 i paid for my Phillips...

What do u mean in high beam form. I was under the impression that the high beams and low beams used 2 separate bulbs. Im prolly mistaken. And as for the Phillips BlueVisions and the Sylvania Xtravisions is a harness upgrade necessary?

High/low beams use the same bulb. There called dual filiment bulbs. One filiment is for the regular beams and the other is for your high beams.

Should be able to get them from Kmart, about $9/each bulb.

no, no harness is required, you dont need a harness for 45/65 watt bulbs, but for anything above like 80/100, you need it....or you will regret it later...

I just got the Phillips BlueVisions and they look great for the price. The only problem is that i now have to change the side markers, I already rewired them so they are brighter. Which brand should i get for the side markers. Thanks
