Whats the softest spring setup?!?

As the question states, In your opinions what are the softest springs/shocks setup out there? Ive heard Eibachs are pretty bad in the ride department. Im gauging responses because i plan to drop my max shortly over summer and i dont wanna a stiff ride (had that with my last car).

thanks

eric

Check out this setup.

The newer Eibachs ride just as nice as H&R's. Both are excellent springs.

I would say H&R with agx shocks set on the softest setting. H&R dont drop as low as most though. next up probably B&G

H&Rs with Tokicos or KYB GR2s will be softer than that.

Anyone know anything about this ^ set up!? I wanna drop my max more than an 1 inch i just dont want to be hopping all over the road because the set up is too stiff, I am used to the stiffer springs because I have an SE, but I wanna keep a close to stock ride but dropped a little. Any Suggestions!?!?

I went with Eibachs. The ride is PERFECT for me... no scraping or anything. Plus, you can stick w/ your stock shocks/struts because the drop isn't that low to hurt it (at least SE shocks). I recommend eibach, u can look at my homepage for a visual on the drop.

so yeah, it'd be a cheaper setup too.

ive heard eibachs are the stiffest (or one of the) springs out there, ive rode in a max lowered with them and it felt fine, but i didnt go over rough surfaces, the guy (bigham) who gave me the ride said it gets bad over rough surfaces. Also he has Tokicos, so i dont know if that has anything to do with it?!

they won't be stiff. My parents ride in my car sometimes and i've never heard them complain about the ride (and trust me, they'd complain haha)

A harsh ride to some, may be a soft ride to others. I've got Eibach/Koni and my parents don't complain either, but then again, my brother's car has JIC FLT-A2s with 520lb/in springs up front, so mine feels way soft in comparison

I grew up around lowered rough riding racing suspensions, and mine actually feel quite soft in comparison. But most people haven't, and are looking for the "completely soft and stock" ride. In that case, go get some H&Rs and don't listen to everyone else say that Eibachs are tolerable. Because to them, they might be, but to you they might not. Or even better, go get a ride with someone who has the suspension you want. That's definately the best way.

Personally, I love my Eibachs, they handle the best probably out of any spring I've felt (next to JIC coilovers), but that's only because they are stiff enough not to let the car sway. They are the "all go and no show" spring, they don't even really lower your car enough, only to a stock looking height, but that height... is the best for performance.... any lower and you wouldn't haven enough suspension travel to perform.
