Does anyone have this problem. When the bass hits the rear
view mirror folds down and I end up looking at my rear seats
instead of New York city Police who sneak up behind and give
out bass tickets. How do you tighten the mirror. It was fun to watch at first, but its getting ridiculous.
Holla,

I had this problem before too, especially when it's hot. The mirror just collapses everytime and you can't use it. Well theres a quick cure to this. Look under the mirror and you'll see a screw. first place the rear view mirror to the place that's perfect. then tighten the screw till it's hard to turn it. It should be good after that. Hope this helps

I had the exact same problem. I am running 2 15's in the rear of my trunk with 1000 watts. This works on a 4 gen, or any other car that has the mirror attached to the top metal, and not just glued to the glass. Look behind the part that holds the mirror up. There should be a little nipple sticking out there. Take a piece of rubber hose (I used ATF cooler hose I had left over from a camry) and cut it about 1". Wedge this 1" piece between the glass and the mirror. Make sure it is tight. Doing this dampens the vibrations from your bass and allows the rear view to stay up.
