MT fluid change

Ok 2 times now I went to change my tranny fluid and I cannot find the drain plug or the fill plug. I've looked at the maximadriver how to's and the picture shown looks like nothing under my car. I bought a haynes manual and all they say is "take off the drain plug until oil is out. Put it back in. Now take off fill plug fill the MT fluid up and reinstall fill plug. No pictures or anything. If you can help I'd appreciate it.

the bolt is on the inside of the transmission right in the middle... it's about even w/ the underbody frame support... i think it's like a 12mm or so... the fill plug is right in front... it isn't a screw but a hole that fits a 1/2" socket wrench into it... you take that and unscrew the plug and there's the fill hole...

if you need anymore help in finding it... just ask..

StygianMax has a good writeup...here

I had a problem getting the drain plug out, so I too used the shifter sensor to drain the trannie.

oh and where he says "Once you pull the sensor out of the tranny box, the fluid flows out freely"

he REALLY does mean it will flow freely!!
I had about 1 qt of trannie fluid on my garage floor as it missed the oil drain pan when it gushed out.

just be COMPLETELY careful when you pull that out... you don't wanna break that plastic piece at all... but that is another good way to drain the fluid... 10mm bolt on that one, i think...
