Unfortunantly a lot of people have bad luck with high power aftermarket bulbs and them frying up the headlight harness. In order to upgrade to those type of bulbs you will have to upgrade your headlight harness, I'm not sure how much it costs though but ask around. Good Luck, Take Care.

You can get an upgraded wire harness from southwestautoworks.com for pretty cheap. That should take care of your problem.

Did you put a higher wattage, Wannabe-HID bulb in there (like PIAA, Eurolite, etc.) or did you do a HID conversion and it's burnig out the harness?

Dude... you can get the harness on Ebay. Type "9004 Harness" in the search. Runs for around $12 for the pair. Thats what I got. Works awesome now. You dont need the whole harness kit with the relays and all that stuff. The stock relays are more than adequate for an 80/100 watt bulb setup. Just remember, when installing the harness, in most cases the wiring color does not match. Just match the wiring poeitions on the harness and you will be fine.

Check those links.

Or try this brand, I had it for two months and no problems yet.

They're not suggestions, they're soloutions.

You have 3 choices:

1. Get a full HID conversion.
2. Get a new wire harness so you can run higher-wattage bulbs.
3. Get brighter stock-wattage bulbs (Like silverstars, bluevisions, etc.) But, still replace your harness, because it's useless now.

I was at Pep Boys the other day and they had the upgraded harnesses $5 something a piece. Pretty cheap especially if you have a Pep Boys near by. No shipping and handling and you get it right then. Hope this helps.
