To remove the injector, you take a pliers and grab around the square part of the injector. Then you twist and pull and it will come out. You do NOT need to remove the rail to get the injector out. Make sure when you put the new injector in that you lubricate the O-rings with some motor oil.

You might have to give it a good pull..pretty hard..it will come out, just make sure the pliers is gripping it tightly and just start twisting/wiggling it when you pull.

Did you get the injector out? Also why do you assume the injector is bad? Was your engine light on? If so, did you check the computer for codes to see if there is a cylinder misfire?

here is what i did

the car is missing a little. i pulled the connector to the coil and the engine sounds the same. i switched coils and spark plugs with cylinder next to it. smae problem same cylinder. i am getting a spark and i can tell i am cause the plug is dry. so it looks like a fuel problem. i have compression. so either the injector is bad or the wire to the injector is bad. any way to test either one? i don;t have the injector out yet. i will in a min or so

I do not know of any ways to test the injector... DO you by any chance have a new injector? If so, then pull out the old replace it with the new and then see how the car runs.

if you have a panel popper you can stick it in one of the slots on top of the injector and leverage it against something. it takes some force.. you probably scared of breaking it so start slow and add more pressure.. eventually it will just pop out and splash some fuel on your face (keep you mouth closed and glasses on)

oh.. make sure your new injectors has o rings on it and the prindle (white end cap with four claws over the bottom) is good.
