Are you in Brooklyn?
Perhaps we can meet up in a few weeks after I'm done with school. I'm very interested in seeing them in action..

I got the pics, SWEEEEEEEEEEt, I so want to do this. i cant wait for the write-up. So the beam patterns are the same? More or less light output? Does the color change at all? Is the only good outcome of this the fact that you dont blind uncomming traffic? Let us know!

Same color output? How is the difficulty of it? When can we expect a write-up. Congrats on the new headlights!

hadnt really look hard at the color. the project was easy enough to take me 2 hours to paint housing, eyelide and projectors. since i didnt take any pictures of the actural project i might have to draw a diagram (can't draw) or if any one is attempting putting in projectors i will assist then i can do a better write-up.....

It doesn't blind people anymore and the beam is more focus there for it's ferther out and it looks nice as the beam bounces and looks like BMW headlights. that's about it....

Where can we get the projecor parts (considering that a junkyard wont have them)? What other supplies do we need? Thanks!

Mass production will depend on how many people want them and also we have to run some more tests and fine tuning as for the parts well.... Ebay, junkyarks ETC....

I think i'm going to make the angeleyes for mine and relay it to a interior switch so i can drive with angeleyes on and projectors off and also we are thinking about putting another projector in there for high beam, a smaller one and do some other stuff with the headlight...

how much this whole project cost you? where did you buy the parts needed? looks sweet. I wouldn't buy a set made due to the fact that i like doing my mods myself.

What I think would especially be cool with those lights are if you were to do an "angel eye" effect around the projector housing... That would look pretty cool IMO..

Otherwise, nice work...

Why pay a High Price when you can go get some R32 Headlights that have a Nice Snug Fit???

ok people....

The R32 are not a direct fit, you have to do some mods for it and i would go that way but it's too expensive for my taste plus i kinda like the fact that i have a maxima, If i had a skyline i would never put maxima products in it just my opinion. Also it's not hard to do the mods may take you 2-3 hours or so.

The beam pattern isn't like a BMW but it's better than stock and it focuses a stonger beam over a wider area with-out blinding people and it looks very cool cause from far away all you see is two beams at you and you think it's some expensive car and when people see a maxima there like, i didn't know maxima comes with projectors, i would say somehting like they don't or if i wanna mess with them i say yeah they all do it's an extra 100 bucks lol...

You will NOT see from inside the car a super beam on the road and your headlights will NOT get brighter and your car won't fly or anything like that.

If you want something different, if you want to stop blinding people and have better focus in a dark area and if you just want to mess around a bit, it's a good idea....

Some notes for those who want/attempt this, YOU CAN NOT GO BACK TO STOCK after the conversion.

sorry this is so long and mine are gonna have white angeleyes for those who care...

Trance

P.S. All props and recognition goes to TAGGATE, who has to be givin the credit due to the fact that he had the ***** to do this on his car and also it's just good policy to give the maker his credit!!!

Once this whole project is done...with the angeleyes, the projectors...etc...it would be great to have a complete writeup. The Maxima's headlights suck and putting money and time into the project would not be a problem for me. This is an upgrade that would...

a.) Look cool
b.) Make you be able to see better = safer
c.) Blind other drivers less = safer
d.) Look really cool.

Seriously, this would be major if someone could describe the project in detail.

Projectors dont look symmetrically placed inside housings, pass. side looks off-center also why are they cloudy? I wonder if Lexus projectors work better, they are clear.
Props on the work.

I have a pair of Porsche projectors here, if I do this project I'm going to their projectors. I have their HIDs as well but they are too bright, its crazy.

If anyone is intrested in trying this project Hella 90 mm projectors cost around $60 each. They are not HIDs but their light output is close to some HIDs.
