um....

stop letting fat chicks sit on the hood and trunk and your shouldn't have any more problems....

I don't think its possible not to get scratches, unless you don't drive the car in nothing but bright sunny days...and you hand wash it with a brand new sponge and chamois everytime. You just have to be diligent with the wax and be careful.

good luck

Could be weathering from the sun. Or people like to key your car in the most not noticable places.

when you go to the mall and park anywhere near a minivan, you see nagging housewives putting their shopping bags on top of nearby cars in order to hussle kids, carriages, and about 20 shopping bags in their vehicles.
also, cats and other animals crawl on warm hoods to keep warm at night... i miss my garage.

threads that make you come to them just to see what they are about and then you find that they are a waste of time?

Actually I probably hate mean people and decaf coffee more than I do the paint on my max, which is bad, but not terrible. If you wash your car regularly, and wax it several times a year, the paint will be fine.

These detailing threads are giving me a headache and carpal tunnel.

NO you don't have to wax it after it rains. The entire point of wax is to protect it from **** like rain.

When is search coming back, I'm not typing this all again.

The main cause of the "scratches" on the spoiler really aren't scratching at all. It's actually do the expanding and contracting of the spoiler due to the temperature changes, it actually causes the paint to crack. If you look at some of the older Maxes the spoiler is even sometimes warped because of this.

Sandman, you're pretty right. There is no such thing as a perfect paint job, you'll always have imperfections.

kewl.... Even if someone gets a brand new paintjob ans puts alot of time and money into it, it will look great for a ong time if its taken care of and properly maintained, just like the car itself... But, few things last forever..... lol
