wrapping a y pipe? worth it?
my y pipe will be here any day and its going to be installed soon. is it worth wrapping it in header wrap or anything else? any hp gains? does it really do much? also where would you reccomend getting the stuff? thx guys.

Well, I don't know about you guys, but my Brullen doesn't make any noises whatsoever. Also, I didn't notice an exhaust sound difference on my Volvo when I did it. However, I have read that aftermarket y's for the max can be quieted down a bit by doing this.
Don't forget, exhaust wrap is notorious for decreasing the life of the exhaust.
