Does anyone have a squealing belt? It started to happen on the onset of winter..too much rain up here. I'm noticing as the weather gets dryer that the noise goes away. I read that the installation manual says not to have it too tight as the bearings will overheat but probably that it might be a little too loose? Any comments would be appreciated. Thanks!

 

I called up the speed shop that installed the V2 and their explanation is that the belt is hard because of the cold and needs to be warmed up first, thus something like a 5 minute warmup is required. That sounds like a reasonable explanation.

 

that explanation they gave you is correct.. once the car heats up its fine and quiet.. till then it sounds very very ghetto.. but spring times not too far off
