MORE exhaust Qs....

1. My B pipe, right before it bends coming from the cat has this cross member thing underneath it. My B pipe rattles against it. Have you guys with catbacks taken off that cross member thingy? How do I stop the rattle?

I GOT MORE Qs but I cant remember what they are right now. Ill have to come back and post them.

wrap header wrap around it. if its that little 1 foot long thin metal thing then just take it off. I think the only purpose of that thing is to prevent the catback from dragging on the floor if it somehow gets disconected.

Take it off. As long as you use all the hangers there won't be a problem. Even use the hanger that the old b-pipe was using. Takes a little enginering, but it can be done.

right on. the reason i say keep it is that the exhaust hangs so low anyway, i would want the extra support.

I just Fixed my "rattle" and sometimes "Thumping" at the brace area.

1. I relaced the old Rubber Exhaust Hanger with a new "Shorter/Thicker" one.

2. Bent back the Heat Shield Corner/Edge that is very close to the bolt/nut that holds the Exhaust Hanger. I discovered that this was also making some noise.

Now it is nice and solid.
