Found squeak in rear!

I kept thinking it was my rear suspension that was squeaking. My car developed a squeak shortly after I installed my AGX/Maxspeed combo. I took the struts out and greased between the body and the strut. I greased where the springs contact metal etc etc. Put it back together.. still squeaking! I hopped in the trunk and had my girlfriend bounce the car. The squeaking was coming from HIGHER than the strut tower! It was coming from some metal in the body! Right above the strut tower you will find some metal tack welded to main body of the car. I had to pry the two pieces apart a bit so they wouldn't rub. I put some lithium grease in there for good measures. NO more squeaking! So for those of you that have this problem, check it out.

Oh, that describes my squeak perfectly. I thought it was the suspension, got in back and realized that it wasn't, and gave up looking for the time...

I'll have to check this out!

Hop in the trunk and have someone bounce the car. There is no way you can find the squeak alone.

Can you take a pic of where you found the squeak? I took a look in the trunk above the strut tower and couldn't find where you were talking about.
