alternator belt`

can someone please tell me the easiest way to get the alternator belt back on. ive tried every way i can think of. its on a 95 auto. thanks.

Do you have the tensioner all thwy way out (loose)?

belt tensioner is all the way loose. seems like it doesnt move regardless of which way you turn it. worked on it for about 2 hours last nite and didnt get anywhere with it. again thanks for the help.
