Me + 350lbs of friends in the car. WRX just driver.

Just after showing a few friends the miracle of a Maxima with a RSB and good tires. (hehe...took um through a wild turn. They told me everyone they had ever seen take the turn I took went into a 4-wheel drift. My Max stuck hard.) Anyways I am chillin after they tell me to never scare them again like that, about to take a u-turn and go home I hear all kinds of noise coming from two lanes to the left of me.

I look left, what do I see but a hooked up WRX. VERY SWEET looking. We weave through traffic alittle, he pulls alittle. RED LIGHT...hehe. We both know its about to turn so we are rolling. I think about 20-30mph(was paying attention to the light) light goes green and I get the jump. Better RT and the V6 tq take me to the front for about 1.5-2 car lengths immediately...not for long...I can hear that TURBO spool up and he passes me very strong at about 80mph. We hit the real highway and he weaves through traffic but I dont bother. Two people and a four door sedan weaving through traffic trying to keep up would have been ugly. So I give up. Had to get back to watch the Sixers game anyway .

Anyways that was Wed night. Last night I went racing. Guess who I see. The same WRX. GUESS WHAT??? I knew the kid. Haha. I had met him last summer and I hung out with him and a mutual friend and we worked on our mutual friend's car together. Anyways I ask him his best ET...13.8 prior to that night. He hit 13.7 that night. pretty fast for the WRX.

ANYWAYS thats my long story. IT was fun. I love hearing a TURBO under WOT.

 

you thing thats good? tonight i whooped up on an excursion with 4 people in it!! 2lanes turn to one and i was in the ending lane.
no launch and still had 8 car lengths by 60

although i would never want a wrx, there is no denying their performance. way to represent.

MAKE EVERYONE WORK FOR IT, NO EASY RACES.

 

13.7 for a WRX is about $20 in mods. MBC and thats it.

guess you're not a fan of street racing. i go to bimmerforums alot and they have a "kills section"...i like reading the stories they put out and tried to add what i could here...oh well

 

you mean THAT dont ya? well i think hes having problems with his car. he has most of the exhaust piping, MBC set at 17psi and a crank pulley. He ran 14.2 stock so I think he knows how to drive.

 

im with mzmtg.. this thread not only sucks it is juvenile. wtf cares about you losing to a wrx.. i raced a wrx 2.5rs with his little gf who flipped me off at the light and i owned him into and through a cloverleaf onramp. i was on the outside and my max is sickly stock with hubcaps to prove it. its all the driver 90% of the time. i don't care if you beat a z06. this thread is just an admission of stupidity in my opinion. i got my max when i was 16 and stopped street racing years ago. find a track or at least give me a good story. none of this "weaving through traffic" like a honda boy!!! keep cool, later

I know a guy here locally with a silver WRX, he ran a 13.5 with just a MBC. I was stunned. I thought he had more.

stupid IS racing at high speeds through traffic......thats why i didnt do it...i raced from 20 to 80, no harm done...if some old lady was crossing an 8 lane highway with a median in the middle she deserves to be hit. wasnt dangerous for anyone...

What is a WRX 2.5 rs?? You mean a impreza 2.5?? Those aren't fast. Or you mean a STi? Those aren't out yet.

 

yeah he did mean the Suburu Impreza 2.5RS...i think he thought that was all driver????haha. Most trucks would beat that Impreza. Its a true dog.

I cant believe this aint locked yet. I know that ONE moderator cant wait for this to be locked. hehe.
