car steering hard to the right

I installed my front struts and then got a balance done right after and when I'm driving, especially on the highway, and I'm slightly turning right or going into the slow lane, the car steers violently to the right. Did I do something wrong when I installed my struts because this never happened before I put on the struts?

Look, i have had this mysterious problem for to long.
2 months ago i got my tires aligned in an attemtp to correct this problem. I have checked air pressure in both tires a zillion times. Just a few days ago, i got my springs and shocks installed. and got another alignment. and still the max is still pulling to the right. I suppose it could be radial pull and i hope it is. i dont know enough about cars really to investigate any closer. i know it must suck, im enjoying my drop and the new shocks but the pull to the right thing is really not cool when trying to enjoy the new stuff. if you solve this pulling to the right, pass on the info to me, thanks

I have a similar problem. Sometimes when braking, the steering wheel will pull to the right by itself.

Check your brakes. On that side the pads may be more worn and grabbing the rotor harder making it pull. I had that on another car before.

A couple weeks ago, I had last years summer tires put on, rear rotors done and alignment. The wheel doesn't shake, so I know the tires are balanced well, but mine pulls to the right too. Just after all this work, it seemed straight before the work.

It pulls right when steping on the gas at normal pressure. The highway, going 90, one can let go of the wheel and still go straight for a while, then veer either left or right.

Uneven Camber causes pulling. More then .5 degree difference from left to right will make the car pull.
What was your Camber readings for both left and right front wheels?

- get it alligned again.
- check for anything bent/loose.
- go to a different place.

i remember the local shop could NOT get my max going straight no matter what they tried. i took it to a 'ricer heaven mod place' for suspension work and they did it in 20 minutes. been there ever since and its right on every time.
