rpms will not go down

rpms will not go down

96 gle auto

i cleaned my TB and now when i start my car it idels at 1400 rpm, it simply will not go down. Its been like 6 days since i clean the TB. What is happening?
It only happenes when im either in "park" or in "neutral" not when im in drive.

check the adjustment on your throttle cable. You might have tightened it too much or something when you removed/reinstalled your tb.

ahhh ok then its normal for the rpms to be kinda high. How long should i expect this? When should it go back to normall. Also i get some kinda shaking noise SOMETIMES when i come to a complete stop. It sounds like its coming from the intake, anytime i go open the hood i can't seem to find the problem. Even my lil 15 year old sis pointed out the noise.
