There is only one kind and it is for years 97-98. So your in luck, I have one on my 96 and it sticks out to far but I will change that soon. Great catback for the price and it will last longer than the car.

on a 95-96, about 1 inch, maybe a tick more, thats the bumper difference between the 4th Gen 95-96, 97-99...

I'm 99% sure there is only one version of the OBX cat-back for a 97-98 which also fits a 95-96 (tip sticks out faaar though)

He has a 98 so it does not stick out any. You probally going to have to do a little modification for it will be flush and center witht eh bumper. I found out that the other version of the catback is for the 99-01.

As far as it sticking out from the bumper, NO, i didnt do any modifications. However, when i first put it on, the tip doesnt align right with the bumper. My fix? I bought an extra rubber hanger from autozone, and switched it the regular one. How did that fix it? well, the original hangers seemed to stretch more so to compensate for it pulling to the left, i used the new hanger which barely stretches on the other side and this pulls the the tip perfectly center.

alright the type b and h that are on speedstash.com are not the ones that people have on their maximas. they are also way more expensive and probably louder due to their muffler design.

click my homepage. click the link "ready to mod your max" and you will see the OBX for a much cheaper price.

also i have pics of mine on page 5 of my site.

www.ssautochrome.com sells them for $330, but they seem kinda shady. That is the only site i have seen them sold on though.

i dont know what you are talking about. the speestash site said $500 or something.

that link says the same as the ssautochrome price. but that exhaust they have pictured is the louder one because of shape of the muffler. look at it compared to the one that i have.

Did you click the link?
http://www.speedstash.com/obx_type_h.html
http://www.speedstash.com/obx_type_b.html

For all maxima's they list the exhaust as $299
From the pictures it does look like the type h.

I found this right from OBX's site:
http://www.obxracingsports.com/perfo...=1&subCat2ID=2
They list three seperate exhaust for the maxima, and speedstash has the exact same product numbers.

i love my obx catback

There is only one version but i think therer are two different types of tips. I remember when the first group deal went for it, everyone thought they would be getting this type of muffler which was a 4.5" tip but then we got the one wit 4" tip. i think thats the difference...

Does anyone have a sound clip by any chance? I'm probably going to be buying an exhaust soon and I'm trying to decide between OBX or a custom resonated b-pipe + magnaflow stainless.
