Sup people. I noticed that a piece of the tray that holds the exhaust pipe under my car like mid-way was falling loose and then I looked again and it was gone. It was like a foot long piece that I guess rusted to pieces. I have never drug the belly on anything. Should I worry? That tray doesn't protect the pipe from water or anything I'm sure, because the tray would not stop water from splashing up in there.

I took mine off and never considered putting them back on. You'll be fine.

That was your heat shield. It wasn't there to protect the exhaust, it was there to make sure you didn't park in really tall grass with 1000* exhaust and start a fire.
