I bought blue #194 bulbs for my gauge cluster and in literally one week, they went from bright blue to purple, and now they are almost white. I bought an average bulb from my local auto shop, they were the only blue #194's I could find. I heard that the bulbs with the stained glass are better compared to the painted ones (which I bought). If anyone knows of any shops in northern nj that might have decent stuff I would appreciate the info... any web sites would also be helpful... thanks

 

Do a search for bulbs and you'll come up with a thousand sites to try. I've had pretty good luck with Polarg bulbs. Try here:

Weird, I spent the money for the polarg hyper white 194's. I put them in and was very happy with the result- very white/slightly blue. I would have preferred BLUE blue, but these were the most readily available. Now they look purple too. Anyone found some good BLUE bulbs???

 

the painted bulbs always burn out in a week. You can try aieonline.com i don't know how thier color bulbs are, but the xenon i got from there a few times were good.
