Mine idles at 800 also. It use to idle at about 650, ever since I installed my MEVI now the idle is higher. I want to clean my throttle body though. When I took it off the old Intake manifold it was black but I didn't have any cleaner at the time. So hopefully once I clean that then my idle might go down.
How are you setting your idle by the way?

How was your idle changed when you pulled ECU codes?

Did you put that screw back to the center position?

Guys, first off. thanks alot for your response

I changed the idle by turning the screw on the ecu. I think that this is specific to the 98-99 model but i might be wrong. When i reset the ecu the idle was too high (like 1100rpm) So I turned the screw and it lowered the RPM.
