Huh? Won't re-engage? If the pedal is up, the clutch is engaged. If things are proper and the pedal is down, the clutch is dis-engaged. So what are the exact symptoms of your trouble?

Pull it up with your hand or foot when bleeding. Push down and repeat to evacuate the old fluid through the bleed screw on the slave cylinder. There is also an upper bleed screw near the top of the fender that you may not have noticed. If it still doesn't have pressure to pop up after tightening the bleed screws and pushing down with your foot, then you're not done bleeding the line.
