Cleaning out EVAP system

I was wondering how you clean your EVAP system or whatever the thing under the left rear tire. Can someone tell me how to clean it, thanks.

you talking about the CVCV valve? which code are you getting. if its the valve, just take it off, its on the front of the big rectangular box thats next to the left rear wheel. the valve has I think 2 hoses and 1 wire going to it. just take it off, spray large amount of wd40, blow thru it with compressed air, and reassemble.

btw this is like literally the 10th time i type these instructions... stupid disabled search feature

thats what i did. i had code 0715 I think, along with another one that people always get when this valve gets clogged. the point is that the valve has to be able to open and close freely, and air should be blowing freely through the valve when its off the car. if that doesnt work for you, buy a new one

i heard those canisters can overfill with water after time... is this true? i already cleaned out that valve thats on the side of the box and i also replaced my gas cap with a brand new oem one. And still i get codes

ive been getting codes up the a$$ about my evap system. Maybe i need to empty the canister and check the vaccum lines under the hood. There is also a mini "flying saucer" looking this thats inline with the vacum lines for my EVAP system right on top of my TB.... maybe that went bad? anyone know the name for that part. My Haynes manual doesnt give a name.
