anyone have experience with grilletech inserts...

has anyone installed one of these on their car or have experience with them? are they good quality, easy to install, etc??

Yeah, At one point I had all 3 of them, I got rid of the two lower ones and made a custom bezeled out lower bumper but i still have the top one. They look really good, but beware cause it is starting to rust a bit. Looks hot thouhg.

Man, I just ordered one a few days ago! I thought these were powdercoated... Should I spray the grille with clear coat to try to protect the finish? I think the product is fairly new so rusting out that fast is pretty bad I think. Also, you talking their diamond mesh grille or their race grille?

I have the racing grille, I have had the grille for about 8 months.

I have them and they have a little rust on them. I mean for as much as they charge they should be powder coated or something. They recommend spraying WD-40 on them often which is annoying. But they do look good.... if you can keep them from rusting.

Do you guys have the black or the silver? I'm guessing the silver is bare metal then?
