intake

wondering which way should i go. i got a short ram and its really nice on the highway but i slows be down from light to light... wondering if i should change it and get a cai or the midpipe.. and which cai... i heard the injen is good but i think i can suck in water with that its right behind the bumper.. does anyone have one that experienced any water sucking or anything... any information would be helpfull

Mine doesn't slow me down from light to light, maybe it just seems that way cause people get scared and they slow down when they hear it roar. Anyway ify ou got a y-pipe as well be sure to change your FUEL filter. I just changed mine today and take back what I said about the y-pipe taking away some of my low end torque. When I got the pipe it felt very weak before 2000rpm, and as soon as it got to 2000rpm the surge of power would jolt/jerk the car. Now with the filter the shifts are smoother and no jerks. What was this thread about again? oh jeah, just try to put in a new fuel filter. I got the 300zx and it's been good for the ~4miles I've put on it...
