The Service engine soon light came on the other day and I checked the code. I got a 0413. Anyone know what this could be?

I don't think you are doing the procedure right because there is no code for 13 long pulses, make sure you count the SHORT pulses first, and then count the LONG PULSES, keep doing this until there is a pattern, for example it should be be short pulse, short pulse, short pulse, pause, long pulse, long pulse, long pulse, long pulse, pause, repeat.....

actually there are up to 15 long pulses....... Code 0413 is Upstream O2 sensor slow response fault (left Bank)

according to this site http://vbxmaxima.8m.com/ecu.html
you count long pulses first then short pulses. I got 4 long pulses and 13 short ones so isnt that a 0413?

hmm so what does a "Upstream O2 sensor slow response fault" mean? One of my O2 sensors gone bad?

I just resetted the ECU for now. All of a sudden while im driving the SES light starts blinking again. I check the code and this time its a 0505??! Crap more problems. One thing I want to know is the codes given from a CEL and SES light the same? If so, then this site http://vbxmaxima.8m.com/ecu.html is given me a "No failure recorded/detected" Help anyone?

0505 is good, you want that, it means no failure detected/recorded. My car throws the same, I used to have the 0304 knock sensor code but it went away after I replaced it. Maybe your 02 sensor was acting up?? I'm not sure, but 0505 is good .
