Mazda 6s

What mods would it take to keep up with or
beat... a Mazda 6s?

I'm an automatic '98 SE... already have y-pipe.
Frankencar w/ K&N is on order.

Will that do... ??

Actually, they have 220hp but only 192lbft. If the 6 is a 5speed, which many are, you may have a tough time, but it will be a good race, more dependant on the driver of the 6 since your auto. You may get him on the luanch, but i believe their equipted with variable valve timing, so look for them to catch up quickly and pass...

A 5speed 6 and Max would be a good race..

I've read the specs... the car is a bit heavier... (300 lbs more)
the torque as previously stated... 192@5000rpm... it does have
sportronic & the variable timing ...

I'm wondering what the car dynos at...

Oh and it's a Ford engine

Thanks for the replies... I'll probably
race it in a month when my friends come up.
Should be fun...
