polyurethane mounts/hangers
i was looking into making my own poly engine mounts and exhaust hangers... i am planing on doing more than just filling the stock motor mounts and pour my own from a mold and same w/ the exhaust hangers in just building a mold and pouring my own poly to make the hangers...
now the question is... where do you buy this stuff from?!? any other tips w/ this kinda thing???
also, if you have any info in poly exhaust hangers that i could just buy, i'd appreciate that too...
thanks,
mike

I would like to know this too. The exhaust hangers would cut down on vibration. I saw them in a magazine for a WRX, the used urathane hangers. I would be very interested in this and willing to spend soem time on it.

The first hit with that search is this:
http://www.fastwrx.com/karexhan.html
That seems to be the only option.

I had problems with my exaust movement so I:
1. Replaced them with New rubber ones and
2. Filled all the gaps/holes/space in hangers...with some adhesive caulk, that is used for windsheids. It becomes Solid.
(It comes in a tube from Napa)sorry I don't remember the name but there has been no movement for over 2 years...Chicago winters and all.
I just was under the car two days ago and they are still tight...like they were molded hook to hook.
