since no one is replying to your thread, i'll help you out...

running rich = more fuel than air, ratio
Usually isnt a huge problem when you're running rich, I know running lean is more severe. if you're not getting enough air, or you're getting too much fuel, you'll be running rich

running lean = not enough fuel than air ratio
If you're running w/o much fuel getting through, and a lot of air is going through, you are running lean. i.e. if you turbo your car and dont upgrade the injectors/fuel pumps, dont get guages/AFC controller, etc, you will most likely run lean, wich is very bad and sometimes leads to detonation. Look what happened to cassidy, he ran lean and blew his motor.

Just get some gauges or something if you're concerned about running lean/rich. If there is a problem, go out and buy an AFC controller or something, and it should fix it.

Thats about as much as i know, dont quote me on much though, cause i could be wrong. Im just not sure about running rich, how it affects your car and everything, etc. Hope that helps!

Seriously? A 6 year old bump for this?

Newbie thread, learn how to use it.

No, it doesn't necessarily mean anything about your AFR.

If you're having an issue, post in the newbie thread, and it can be properly diagnosed.

You're not even in the right damn section, go to the 5th gen subforum.
