Headlight Out

One of my headlight went out last night. I see this all the time on the road but I don't know what the problem is. Is my battery gone or my light bulb gone? Thanks

hmm I smell hardness melting!
You shoud check the sockets and see if they are not melting. That usually happens with the hyperwhite bulbs from ebay.

what is a sign of melted harness. i have no physical sign of any melting, but last weekend my drivers side light went out, so i wiggled it a bit, and it turned back on. so everytime i turn my lights on now i have to open the hood and wiggle the plug. i'm hoping its just a loose wire i can re-solder. any idea?

I have a aftermarket harness so I dont think thats the problem. I guess I can switch my left and right light bulbs and see if its really out. I just checked out prices for PIAA whites... Seems like I can't get them under $80... I want to avoid ebay as much as possible. Any online store suggestions?

If you're concerned with how you can see the road, rather than how your headlights look to other drivers, buy Sylvania Xtravisions. Available at any auto parts store for about $12 a bulb. They're not "kewl blOO" though.

I got Eurolite Super Plasma bulbs from Circuit City for $30.. they are bright white with a slight purple tint , but they're mostly white. I can see great with them and they look cool from the outside too

I had Eurolite Xenon Crystal bulbs before but they were way too blue, I couldn't see crap at night, it just looked nice from the outside..

These purple bulbs are great though
